The Italian Association of Friends of Historical Mills APS - Borgo Mantovano is organizing the event "Mills and Chestnuts - Past, Present and Future in the Apennine Territories" in Porretta Terme (Bo) at the Testoni Theater, which has the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
The thematic conference, to be held on Sept. 30, titled "Mills and Chestnuts - Past, Present and Future in the Apennine Territories," is cast particularly on the territory of Alto Reno Terme, its mills and chestnut groves, flour production and new uses, with historical insights and evaluations for a possible future, and will involve speakers from the academic and productive worlds.
